Dr. Phillip M. Semrau's early professional work first occurred in 1984 while working abroad as an adjunct professor in Paris. During this time Phillip was instrumental in helping his charges to enhance their career goals and gain an international footing.

In 1985 Phillip began his tenure at the University of California at Berkeley. From 1985 until 1991 Phillip was also working at various Corporations such as Chevron, where he first met the Director and President of C.H.A.R.M.E.D., incorporated -- HG Antonio Di Giovanni. At the time Phillip always wanted to cast a wide a net as possible while being steadfast about remaining in the Bay Area at all costs.

In 1992, upon graduation from Berkeley, Phillip's career path took a radial and unanticipated detour into non-profit work with an invitation from HG Antonio Di Giovanni. At that time Phillip joined the Board of D0irectors and The Dominion-Life Foundation -- the precursor to C.H.A.R.M.E.D., Incorporated.

During Phillip's tenure, Phillip assisted HG Antonio Di Giovanni to establish enumerable case laws that included, but was not solely limited to, safeguarding the rights and benefits of people living with HIV/AIDS and safeguarding people of the LGBT community from discrimination in the workplace.

Phillip has also been instrumental in assisting the Director HG Antonio Di Giovanni and other members of the corporation's advocacy team over the last thirty (30) years to successfully win each and every case they were presented which included those before the Workers Compensation Appeals Board, the Social Security Administration, as well as disability and unemployment claims before the Employment Development Department.

Phillip also assisted the Director HG Antonio Di Giovanni in the unheard pursuit of cases against spammers thereby helping to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for pediatric cancer and AIDS research and housing for homeless veterans. Just one of the settlement checks HG Antonio Di Giovanni is included above.

The Director HG Antonio Di Giovanni, Director and President of The Dominion-Life Foundation, now known as C.H.A.R.M.E.D., Incorporated has been heralded and praised for the successful litigation against spammers, and the first in the nation to have had the courage to stand up against such online annoyances and to devote this stream of funding to underwrite the C.H.A.R.M.E.D., Incorporated's work.
